I agree with this. Also for manga. A lot has been Americanised, and I don't a) see the point. Most people reading have some knowledge of Japanese cultural stuff and b) the americanisms make no sense to me a lot of the time.

despite that, I am still glad that the work is making it onto the English speaking market.
