Why do you think a huge amount of anime voice actors don't ever do anything BUT anime

Because they don't live in Los Angeles. The four major English-dubbing companies are based in Dallas (Funimation), Houston (ADV/Sentai), New York (4Kids) and Vancouver (Ocean), so the actors in their dubs live there. However, if you want to do American cartoons and video game work, you need to be in LA.

Also, a lot of actors in anime dubs also work behind-the-scenes in the dubbing industry, as writers, directors, etc. So they don't do anything other than anime because it's already a full-time job for them.
