I got the exact opposite; Nancy's career as dealing pot has been shown in a far more positive light than Walt's career in manufacturing meth.

I mean Weeds was basically "the wacky misadventures of the Botwins" even when it got dark and people got killed. I'd say Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm is shown in a more negative light than Nancy ever was.

Yes, it is. It's a comedy full of wacky adventures. But the finale was all about Nancy suffering the lonely consequences of her actions.

I mean, it's kind of funny that both Walt and Nancy have their main partner accuse them of holding them hostage. Only in Walt's case it's because he's forcing himself into the house and Skyler is actually under threat if she tried to leave. Andy is held to Nancy by his being in love with her until he breaks free and she cries.
