Nancy involved her family much more than Walt has. That's not to say that Walt isn't being horribly reckless or that his actions don't affect his family, because duh of course they do. But Walt really has managed to keep his criminal life more separate from his 'real' life than Nancy has.

I don't think it's just that Nancy's a woman that puts more pressure on her--it's that she's the only surviving parent. Walt can run off and let Skylar deal with the family, but Nancy can't, really, extended family and friends aside.

Well, yes, but again that's part of Nancy being a mother and Walt being a father. Traditionally the father has always had the role that made him free to go off and get into trouble and then come home to the wife and kids who aren't supposed to ask him about his day.

As the mother, Nancy commits crimes and also makes her kids lunch. There's no real tradition for mothers to break bad without directly hurting their kids. There's a long tradition for husbands doing that. Nancy letting Andy care for the kids at home would still be worse than Walt leaving the kids with Marie.
