s8 is premiering in a week but the very reliable source of a tumblr post said there are negotiations going on. i'm really hoping it's just speculation but knowing the CW, who knows.

Being as this is the CW though, it's probably true.

the Js said at Dallas con they are have agreed to do up to season 10 but the network has to green light then next to seasons

Ten seasons is a lot! Again, not unprecedented, but I thought the show was beginning to run out of good material a season ago. That said I know the show still has a huge and dedicated fanbase, and the Js get work, so...good for them.
