There are ways to "state the obvious truth" that don't make you a trollish asshole. And why do you feel the compulsion to always and forever state the truth? Do you walk along the street pointing out when people are ugly, fat, thin, pretty, short, tall? I think people like you are kind of weird.

Now I have this image of OP just pointing out every little thing throughout the course of their day. "I'm eating cornflakes. The bus is 19 minutes late. You're wearing a hat. That's a dog over there. That guy is talking on a cell phone. The sun disappeared behind a cloud. Grass is really green."
