What's patronizing is that you seem to think people who aren't white are so helpless that they would need your white ass to help them find characters to cosplay. Newsflash: they're perfectly capable of doing so on their own. And that's likely what that cosplay group thought, because who the fuck are you to tell non-white people who they should want to cosplay?

I wasn't "crying Poor Little White Girl Tears" (and honestly, can you imagine if anybody came up with a reversed version of that phrase? And what even made you assume I was young, or female?) I was, however, disuquieted by the notion that perhaps that was why I hadn't had a response, especially as the blog in question happened to link and reblog a bunch of times to a similar blog (whose purpose I've never seen brought into question) just after I asked if they'd like to hook up. I wasn't really sure what other discernable difference there was between the two pages.
