16: I love Avatar now...when it first started I told everyone that it was crap and not real anime and I never watched it. I think some people just need to give something a chance before they trash it. Which is how I do things now. We should geek out about it as I have no one to geek out about it with :D.

Seriously, tho -- I avoided Avatar for AGES because the concept of it seemed so silly. Animal sidekicks? A "chosen one" destined to save the world? Elemental powers? Eastern philosophy as adapted by white guys in california...?

But its actually the best show nickolodean has going for it as of late. More like it please?

Reminds me of Gargoyles on Disney Channel except the storylines became progressively more awesome IE too intricate for most kids to follow so it bombed.
