Boggle and Calming Manatee have helped me a lot and are probably part of what keeps me from cutting. (I haven't cut in years but sometimes I still think about it.) The posts help, and in the back of my mind I know I could write them even though I probably won't because people might know it was me.

(I'm still depressed as hell too, but part of that is my current situation.)

Boggle is wonderful. ;w; Don't feel bad about being helped by a cartoon owl! Even if it seems fake and empty to be comforted by a fictional talking animal, remember he's drawn and given lines by a real person who really does care.

It's how I like to look at most fictional characters. They were made by real people who (usually) put real emotions in them. Therefore they are real enough to help me. Logic! :D

I'd never heard of Boggle before now. I just read 10 pages of backposts. I also saved a good dozen of the messages to open to read them, because a hell of a lot of the posts resonated with me. And I kinda believe a tiny cartoon owl DOES love you, me and everyone.

So, yeah. Cartoon owl, yet I see nothing to be ashamed of.

Also: *hugs from a stranger* One step at a time, anon. Stopping cutting is certainly a good first one!
