I just needed to vent about this

I realize now that being with one of my closest friends make me more unsocial. I want to talk to people casually and make friends, but with her there, it never happens.
She talks much more than I do so I have a harder time getting a word in, and she always steers the conversation. Basically, she dominates any conversation with acquaintances and they become friends with her, but I remain that awkward loser that hardly talks.

Also no one ever remembers when they have a conversation with me. They say, "Oh! I actually..." and then months (sometimes days) later I try to talk to them and they say the exact same thing. It sucks.

I'm honestly kind of bad about the second bit, tbh. When I get excited I get REALLY excited and then I like to share. But I try my best to not let it steer the conversation, lol.
