agreed. And the fact that the first time I saw the film the audience cracked up at that scene really upsets me :\

If it makes you feel better, a lot of people, especially teenagers, laugh at serious things that catch them off-guard and make them feel uncomfortable.

But that still sucks. I cannot get over how lucky I was when I saw the movie in theaters -- I seriously had the most amazing audience ever. Emotive but not noisy, with highly-appropriate reactions to everything. It really does color your perception of a movie.

People laughed at that scene? I... I'm actually boggled, I had a partly noisy audience when I saw it(hearing anything after a joke was impossible because people were still giggling, I didn't even know that Loki made dying whale noises after Hulk smashed him into the ground and neither did I hear what Hulk said afterwards properly) but at that scene there was dead silence in the cinema.
