It seriously sucks. Searching for fic is essentially an exercise in frustration, especially since it keeps creeping into fic that doesn't even have anything to do with Avengers. I've stumbled across ones that were not tagged as Superfamily, where no one in the Avengers shows up, but Peter is off-handedly mentioning his "dads".
