Kaldur deserves all the love, all the love, and he is not getting nearly enough of it in art or fic (if I never see Robin or Flash or any Batperson again, it'll be too soon). He has the angstiest storyline in the whole show going right now, but does he get bitches? He don't get no bitches. Plus, for god's sake, the man does use a contraction now and then, drives me crazy when fics have him talking like something out of the eighteenth century.

One of the reasons I had to back away from the Inception fandom with both hands in the air was "darling". "Darling". Fucking "darling". He uses the word once the entire movie, and not even affectionately. I have never hated a piece of fanon so much.

Forget Naruto. Darui and the Fourth Raikage aren't even in the fandom. Waaah.

Only watched the first season (which I wasn't too fond of, tbh), but Kaldur was actually my favorite! When I went looking for the fandom only to find NOTHING involving him (esp shipping fic, which I would've been all over), I gave up on both the fandom AND the show.

And I used to be in Inception fandom and even loved Arthur/Eames, but eventually the pairing (and fandom in general) was ruined for me. When I stopped finding Arthur/Eames appealing there was very little for me to read, since I wasn't into Ariadne/Arthur either and most other pairings were ignored. And didn't some fic writers eventually start using darling as Arthur's middle name? That killed me.

I don't blame you, if I hadn't liked the show overall as well as Kaldur, I would have done the same (I got into it late, after more good shipping fic had collected than I imagine existed before the show's current hiatus, and I still have to dig like a crazy person for it).

Same thing happened to me with Arthur/Eames - if there had been more genfic and Mal-fic, I probably could have stayed longer, but alas. Argh, I hated those non-cracky "Arthur Darling" fics, they were like my kryptonite.
