I looked up pics of Chris Evans to see why everyone and their dog were fanning themselves over him and I got it, Chris Evans is, in fact, pretty hot. But as Steve Rogers he does nothing to me. Honestly, he's on the same level as Coulson for me. I love Coulson and don't think he's bad looking or anything, but I love him more for his personality than his physical appeal.

Was Bruce hit with the Female Gaze? I thought Bruce and Tony where both tragically over-dressed the entire time.

Whaaaat I was the other way around. I didn't think Chris Evans was that hot until I saw Captain America, and then it was redoubled by the contrast he made by still clinging to 1940s clothing and hairstyles in The Avengers. Chris Hemsworth was still hotter though.

Bruce spent over a minute of the film completely naked with nothing but choreography-fu and a couple of bricks keeping the rating below R, so I can't exactly complain ;) Part of Bruce's charm is that he looks as unlike a powerful, musclebound rage monster as it's possible to look.

I could've used some burns and rips in Tony's clothing, though, ngl. But to be quite honest, he didn't need it. That body language. Those facial expressions. Those eyes. Those inhuman eyelashes. That perfectly-trimmed mustache and beard. That hair and those grey patches showing through it. Just the charisma alone. Female gaze? RDJ doesn't need no steenking female gaze.

Heh, I thought he was hotter as Steve Rogers than usual, actually. And I actually liked the '40s haircut. I thought it was adorb and old-fashioned. But maybe that was because I first saw him in Captain America, where that kinda fit the setting?

You might be on to something here. I saw Avengers first (where Chris Evans did nothing for me. Except the shot from behind in the gym. I'm not made of ice, after all. ;)) and only watched Captain America later. And I did find him hotter in CA. Not as hot as Bucky ♥Bucky!♥ but pretty hot, and much more appealing than in Avengers. Huh.
