I guess I'm on the other end, then. Because the very concept of shipping is something I find really, really strange and confusing, and half the time I'm wondering if I'm either missing some parts upstairs or watching a different version of the show because I'm genuinely not seeing what 90% of the fandom is.

Eh, maybe you haven't been here long enough. Took me years to understand what the point of shipping was, and nobody could explain it to me (well, they said it was "porn," but I disagree.)

Anyway, you'll either get it eventually or not. No big deal, it's not for everybody. :)
