Haven't seen the series yet-do you mean that Britain has control of the zombie situation?

Is this series worth watching? From the secret it sounds like I might like it, as to me, "good" zombie fiction focuses on society coping with the problem, and how it adapts. Stuff like 28 days/weeks.

If you find pointless panty, boob, and ass shots funny then you should watch it. Really, it was pretty awful. There's a point where the guy straps a gun to one of the girl's breasts to stop shock or something. Do you know how much that would fucking hurt? Ugh.

That sounds pretty good actually; to me teasey stuff like that is like actual porn, so how is it apart from that? Is it kinda evil dead-y, or what?

It starts good, if you like evil dead-y gore, or Shaun of the dead's style of story (Everyone who's not a main character is going to die, and you just know it, but there will be comedy and heartwarming moments between the deaths). But the fanservice gets in the way a LOT. The first OAV is basically soft porn with some zombies sprinkled on, and the sound effects for the bounces of the nurse's boobs get irritating FAST.

THIS. I nearly stopped watching because of the CONSTANT fanservice - seriously, the jiggling breasts and asses (with ripple motion!) got boring REAL fast.

Oh man, this scene is so hilariously bad. The way the boobs jiggled in slow-mo, behaving like water balloons.

And I'm just wondering, what the fuck is that guy doing anyway? The other girl obviously doesn't need his "help". (It took me a while to figure out that he's apparently not actually shooting at her but trying to shoot zombies?)

From what I recall, London retained control. Not all of Britain, just London.

How much you wanna bet they were all fucked anyway once the rest of the country swarmed em?

IMO it's pretty good, though the excess of fanservice really bothered me after a while. By which I mean, skeeved me out since the first episode. I don't mind fanservice in and off itself, but HotD really amped it up to eleven. I heard that the fanservice is supposed to be ~ironic or satirical or something, in which case the people in charge seriously missed their mark. I had to first forward most scenes with the nurse, because holy crap, talk about skeevy and disturbing as hell.

Which is a shame, because as I said, other than the fanservice I thought it was really good. The things they did had consequences, like the the time when the main character had to rest the gun on his friend's breasts which an anon mentioned above. IIRC he had to rest it on her because the gun was strapped to her and she couldn't move because she had been thrown off a moving car. Afterwards she spent a lot of time bed-ridden because she couldn't move.

It's a reallllly entertaining survival horror anime with great characters but unfortunately a lot of ridiculous (like, not even physically possible) fanservice. If you can overlook the fanservice, you'll enjoy it.
