As far as the community goes--at that point, it was years since the last LotR film and the last HP book, so I'm not surprised deleterius folded--probably it had just reached the end of its natural life span. In the last year, I think it was just the same two or three posters trying desperately to keep it going, and there was hardly a post with more than maybe 5 comments.
