Some people have an extreme attachment to their excreta.

When my mom was a little girl, her family took in a lodger whose room always smelled odd. When this person finally moved out and mom and my aunt helped Yiayia to clean the room, they found several turds carefully wrapped in newspaper and stowed in the bottom drawer of the dresser.

Some of them. But there had to be a time where they just knew that was the best and they'd never be able to beat it.
