Yeah outside renaming our whole country the only nickname for us that is specific is "USAmerican" and while that works I don't see it catching on because of people's tendencies to shorten terms, we'd just end back up at American again.

And renaming the country will not happen without a war or revolution (which I don't really want to live through...)

Uuuuggghhh yeah, I'm hoping to avoid some sort of revolution or civil war. I think things would have to be a LOT worse for that to happen any time soon, anyway. (Despite Glen Beck being convinced that if Obama gets reelected that there will be RIOTING IN THE STREETS or whatever hyperventilating he's going on about right now.)
