Oh, but it's totally cool to shit on the US, didn't you know? We haven't contributed anything worthwhile to the world. It's not like half the secrets on here are about American fandoms or anything.

yeah, I know. As I constantly run into anti-Americanism all over hte internet I keep reminding myself that the next time some other place has a horrible disaster of some sort they'll think we're okay for a short while when they're reminded how Americans give more help to everyone else than any other nation gives.

Or when some fucked-up country has yet another revolution and begs and begs for American intervention and gives the US a guilt trip from hell, and then as soon as they get the help and/or results they wanted, they'll have more anti-American demonstrations in the streets to show us exactly just what they think of us, really.

Just wish the meager thanks didn't come with such a price and at such times.
