My frustrations.
(Anonymous) 2012-10-02 02:59 am (UTC)(link)Which is stupid since the internet is 60% porn and 35% complaining.
It's like I want to be the mediator of everything and can't see why either side can't see how annoying they are both being. Granted I learned a long time ago to not even bother commenting.
I think being raised an only child left me with little ability to understand why people would rather spend time being mad than enjoying themselves. If it makes you mad... just don't do it/ watch it/read it/play it/talk to them. Whatever. Why argue until you are blue in the face and never admit you MIGHT be wrong even when presented with proof that you're overreacting.
It's also funny to see people flip their shit over a rumor and start calling something racist/sexist/ all the ists, then the find out if was in fact, a false rumor and they never retract all their bitching. Say you're wrong. Damn.
/incoherent babbling.

Also while I'm at it, I'll raise you a pie chart of the internet as well.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-02 03:32 am (UTC)(link)But hey, I also have to remember that sometimes people just enjoy being angry and contrary for the sake of it. I've fallen to it a few times before, and there's a difference between exhausting, futile rage and energizing, passionate rage. I think the latter is what the internet indulges most often, and some people can carry it longer than others. Didn't Cracked.com just do an article about how the heat of an argument actually generates some kind of hormonal high that people try to ride as long as possible?
