I had a moment like that once, too. I was staying at a motel where there were a lot of stray cats hanging around. I saw a couple guys carrying a cat into a room in their shirts. The cat was trying to get away and they were telling it to shut up. Normally I would've assumed that it was their cat just being a typical noncompliant cat and they were getting frustrated at it, but something about the way they were talking to it gave me the creeps. Five minutes later, the police came and arrested those guys. Still dunno what for, but it was an interesting experience. :/ So anyway, I agree it's good to trust your gut and stay away from people who give you bad vibes.
