I feel the same way about Oancitizen, the "Brows Held High" guy. I've seen and enjoyed a few of his reviews, but for the most part, I just can't get into art films. I will say: His review of Haxan is AMAZING.
[the link goes to his review, btw]

Also, I like both Cinema Snob and Phelous, but there's some films they review are a little too... extreme for me (same with Hagan, really). No way am I watching a video review of Cannibal Holocaust or The Human Centipede... [shudder]

I made it through Cannibal Holocaust, but I stopped in the middle of Human Centipede 2. And thank god I did because then I read what happens at the end of the movie. I'm still all D: D: about it.

Oancitizen is one of my favorite reviewers on the site, especially since he kicked off a few other musical reviews with his The Man That Fell to Earth review.

I'm just the opposite, I love it when they review the big, vile shock-value movies - I get to see a bit of what they're about without having to sit through the whole thing.

The Man That Fell to Earth review

I should watch that review, that sounds alike one I'd like, actually. I also saw his Gerry review. Oddly, my favorite part is when he uses a slow (well, slower than usual) scene in the movie to digress and talk about Robert Wilson.

Don't get me wrong, I don't object to them reviewing those films; they review horror and exploitation movies, after all. I just don't know if I could stomach watching some of the clips they'd show.
