Although Reservoir Dogs is a crime drama, it could also be interpreted as a subtexual tragic romance (Mr. Orange + Mr. White), which is the comparison that I'm assuming the OP was trying to draw.

I saw it less as a romance and more of a father/son or master/apprentice type deal between the two. Like I can see Mr. White going around and calling Mr. White, "kid" and giving him fatherly advice on top of how to throw down in a shoot out.

That's definitely one interpretation. But as Quentin Tarantino himself said, "Gay subtext makes every movie better". ;)

Well, can't go against the director...

Guess I must ship it now.

Now I have to re-watch with goggles on and see if I spot the ship. Oooh, or maybe ships. After all, ships are like Lay's (pun funny but not intended), you can't have just one.

Oh, and great quote, I didn't know he said that.

Quentin said that Mr. White and Orange were a father/son relationship, too.

Of course, when I usually watch Reservoir Dogs, I just wish that Mr. White and Mr. Orange were able to run away with the diamonds and live happily-ever-after together on an island.
