The fact that you're here commenting about how sad you are FS is dying and how much you hate DW.

Submitting a secret takes exactly as much effort as you're putting into your current pity party. Maybe less. You have no excuse.

I've submitted secrets both here and on LJ.

I don't see any notable difference in the one compared to the other... does anybody else?

Not really. There's a few differences between old LJ and DW, but not many. Off the top of my head: the "random" icon button (which I use ALL THE TIME), the slightly different comment layout which some people don't like, the ugly journal layout choices (but half of LJ's were ugly, too, and doesn't have anything to do with F!S) and some of the stuff to make things easier for screen readers and other things for people with disabilities.

The ugly layouts/default layout can be easily fixed with scripts too; I have one that makes it look old LJ blue.

Instructions on changing the site style / comments! Includes the script to make new comments show up as well.

I haven't submitted secrets yet, I'm still working on my first ones. (I want to make 'em interesting.) But my biggest difference is that I can participate in discussions over here. I know this was probably only me, but my computer wouldn't load pages with big discussion threads on LJ. I don't have that problem here, so I'm pretty happy about the move.

I didn't have problems with loading any lj on my computer, but it was noticeably slower and lame. Plus I tend to visit this comm more often on my phone. Loading comments or expanding them, even with images off, was a pain. It was like one of every three threads would load, while everything else got stuck.

and mobile lj is a huge joke.

yet to see any reason for fs to go back.
