Very true, but I only ever care if something is erased in-universe. In my head, it's alive, therefore I give no fucks. :D Well, I would give fucks if Star Trek was still going strong and had future potential that was now kaput due to the movies, but after Enterprise and Nemesis both tanked on the TV and film levels...yeah, give no fucks, since the actors from DS9 and TNG are too old to keep playing their characters, and that's what I really care about. It's more like just...laying aside your favorite book after it's done. *shrugs*
