I wouldn't say disgusted, but Todd Shimoda's Subduction left me really irritated. The protagonist was okay in the prologue, but in the rest of the novel he just didn't give a shit about anyone (just really antagonistic towards some people for no reason) on the island other than the girl he wanted to have sex with. The situation that got him on the island was pretty terrible, but still. Also, I think the ending was just stupid.
