Dude, that's so many beards. How many is that? Does she swap them whenever she switches languages?

But in all seriousness, I wouldn't mind seeing a movie about it. Maybe since it's a movie they could make it about the Terran Empire invading the Nu!Trek universe, or the Enterprise gets trapped in their reality, or maybe, or maybe a different ship ends up there and they need to rescue it. So many possibilities.

And the new movie is about Khan. I wonder if it will live up to the older movie.

I would love a Mirrorverse story in movie form. There's so many possibilities and you have SUCH a talented cast to work with it!

I saw a short, short trailer and I thought it implied Khan. I also remember them talking about the possibility shortly after the first movie came out. Why? What did you hear?

I just looked at it on Wikipedia and everything still seems to be rumor except for the title and who has signed on. So we're just spinning our wheels.

That trailer was a fake, actually. There's no actual trailer or uh... ANYTHING yet. And I'm hoping Cumberbatch is not Khan because come ON now with the whitewashing. I mean it's true Ricardo Montablan wasn't Indian like Khan was supposed to be, but at least he wasn't white. It was baby steps that I would be appalled to see them regress on.

Plus, as my brother said, "He is not a person you would look at and say: 'perfect superhuman.'"

Pretty sure that her only speaking official Fed. languages was the defense for her not speaking Klingon in TOS or something?

It was in a movie and it was a very stupid plot device I wish to ignore. I mean, why wouldn't she know the language of their greatest adversaries? Especially since in that movie they were going to become allies.

But I never heard that excuse for it. Huh.

hilariously i seem to remember reading that all that arose after subsequent mirror universe episode writers were too dense to understand the way that nana visitor was playing mirror kira's narcissism and just assumed she literally wanted to bang her doppelganger i guess

still, ds9 gave us rejoined, the only star trek episode to ever acknowledge that queer people actually exist in the future so there's that
