Re: Anyone else looking for a job?

How are you applying for these jobs? As someone who has recently been in the position to employ more staff, I can honestly say that I only even considered a few of the resumes handed to me. I had two positions to fill, and the people who I finally chose had both made a point of handing me the resume personally, and asking questions about the positions available.

My point is that it's never a bad idea to go and make yourself known to whoever is doing the hiring, at the very least it shows an interest further than "you have a job available, and I need a job"

If you can't get there in person then try and find a phone number or email, anything is better than handing in a resume and waiting. And there's nothing worse for you than not even knowing if they got your application.
