Living Room Smells Like Formaldehyde

My living room next to the window smells like formaldehyde today and it's giving me a headache. Is this something that sounds deadly?

thats... an oddly specific smell. and unless you're keeping formaldehyde in the area, i'm struggling to think of why you'd be smelling that. maybe open a window and let it air out.

Don't some kinds of furniture give off that smell? The ones made of... I want to call it pressed wood.

But unless biohazardgirl put new furniture in there I don't get it either.

(If it is new furniture, my friend had that problem and she took the bookshelves out to the garage until the smell went away.)

I live behind a McDonalds, I think it was just car exhaust x burgers= nasty smell.
