Funny...for me, when I was involved in(non-celebrity level, admittedly) theatre and orchestra it made things MORE magical for me. Being able to be one of the privileged few that got to go behind the curtain and make friends with the actors and musicians and know exactly how things were set up, how characters developed FROM their actors as well as a script; it didn't kill my love for the fantasy of the shows I was in, it just added more magic to RL when I had to face more boring, mundane stuff.

But, I'm sure TV is far different and YMMV and all that. Just struck me as terribly sad that you feel that way when so many people would die to be where you are. And that all, of course, is assuming this secret is true.
