The light blue haired guy (Kuroko) is most commonly paired with Aomine (the dark blue haired guy) and Kagami (dark red head dude)

Oh yeah, that too! I wasn't sure if it counted because most of the fanart/fic I've seen involving Kise/kuroko have it as more of a one-sided thing (is there a lot of requited kise/kuroko out there? I would be interested)

I had no idea, wow! I guess since most of the fic I've seen is Aomine/Kuroko, I just figured it was the most popular. Or maybe it is for the western fandom...? idk

I don't know much about the Western fandom, but on pixiv (and that's about as much about the Japanese fandom I know), KiKuro is very much popular! I don't ship it, so I can't say how much of it is one-sided, though...

To be honest both of them are paired with everyone. It's just that Aomine is overwhelmingly the seme and Kuroko is overwhelmingly the uke.

I hate that. Especially if they're shipped with Kagami because then he's either a weepy uke or a big bad seme/dumb as a rock seme (the latter depends on whether Kuroko is a weepy uke or a manipulative jerk). Haaaate that. I'm waiting for the fic where Kagami and Himuro turn out to be the only guys who've ever gotten any back when they were in America. Mostly because I want Aomine to be the inexperienced virgin for once.

It's funny because both KagaKuro and KiseKuro have a sizable following of Kuroko topping, but when it comes to AoKuro there's hardly any. Even TakaMido and MuroHimu are really reversible so it can't be a size thing...
