Because you magically aren't a sexual being until you turn 18? Obviously children are too young to be watching porn, but that's not necessarily true for all older teens. Teens should be able to decided whether or not they want to/are mature enough to look at porn. Making sex and sexuality super mysterious and taboo isn't very good for teens.

The problem your talking about is that lots of porn uses rape as a plot device to lead to the sex - not the age of the viewer.

Because a lot of adult men have a problem understanding consent too - and that's probably not BECAUSE of the porn, but rather the porn is like that because of their poor understanding of consent.

Also, teenagers HAVE SEX. Telling them they can' watch it is utterly ridiculous.

But lots of things that AREN'T porn, including media aimed at teenagers, use those tropes more widely than porn does. I think you're giving porn too much credit if you expect the majority to have any plot at all, especially a plot that emphasizes "love" as a reason for sex.
