Tbh, I really liked it. I think I'm really enjoying the concept of a Sherlock that isn't perfect - he's really noticeably bitchy and petty.

Joan is pretty great too - she reacts to him very realistically, and doesn't take his shit, but still gives him room to exercise his intellect. She's learning how to work with him as time goes on.

I think people are really paranoid about how the deviation from formula and the introduction of a female is going to affect the story, but... Idk, I like the former and I don't think the latter is going to have a big deal romantically.

It really is early days though. I think everyone really needs to take a step back and give the poor show a chance to breathe and find its legs. If you don't end up liking it, that's okay! But let's just give it some time to get the ball rolling.
