Re: Live without
Before I had internet access where I live I used to walk miles to the library two or three times a week to use the internet. If I was ill, didn't have the time, or winter made it impossible to travel/shut down the library I would go almost mad with mental cabin fever and I coped much the same way as you did. :D
In winter especially when I was cold and depressed and the night came so early and I couldn't read once it got dark I would make up usernames and invent fandoms for them to argue/troll/create for.
