nope, still having a problem :\ But now I'm wondering if maybe it's a combination of my crappy internet and firefox though. Maybe I'll try chrome.

Hmm, I checked and apparently my firefox is up to date, so maybe it's something else? Not that it couldn't still be your browser, because computers be crazy.

I've never used chrome so I can't offer any advice on it, but if you try it I hope it works better for you.

Btw, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox? Maybe you should make sure all your plugins are up to date too? I seriously doubt either of those things are necessary though, or causing the problem in the first place. You might just need to reboot your computer? (Unless you've tried that, in which case: wth.)

haha you are being of help-- at least now I know that it's not a firefox-wide problem so I can try to deal with it on a local level. Unfortunately I updated 2 days ago and have had the problem ever since so I don't think rebooting would help (done it already) but reinstalling might work. Thanks :)

Ah, alright. I wasn't sure if you'd just updated today or what. While it could probably be an issue other firefox users are experiencing I guess reinstalling is your best bet. If that doesn't work maybe try another browser until the next firefox update?

I know I'm having some stupidly annoying issues with my mobile browser, but my friend who uses it as well has no problems with it whatsoever. Luck of the draw, I guess.
