I'd be much less informed, and I probably wouldn't have enjoyed college as much as I did. Say what you want about fandom and the internet, but it's good for keeping in touch with people (all my friends went to different colleges) and with finding answers to your questions. Since I sort of live in redneck land, I can imagine exactly what I'd have missed without internet.

Oh, and the internet helped me decide on my career too. :D
