OMG your comment just made me wonder if fandom causes fans to have synchronizing periods now, and five seconds later I was constructing a theory about a bullshit biology-breaking technobabble computer virus that somehow manages to pick up PMS-vibes from various fans and translate them into a code transmitted by screen-flickering to other fans that causes brain disturbances that in turn cause hormonal disturbances which is all an Evil Plan to distract a big segment of fangirls with porny fanfic for long enough to enact some massive cyberattack.
