Yeah, this. I haven't seen Go On yet but from what I heard from people, the Community comparisons are more about the premise and the style - especially the Matthew Perry character's speeches - than about some kind of character-by-character comparison. It's like Community shorn of its pop-culture obsessions. And this is coming from people who liked the show, too.
