Yesterday I went and got myself a new tattoo! It's the words "You are the captain of your own ship" in Blackaddar font, and it's around my ankle. I didn't twitch my foot once while I was getting tattooed, nor did I cry or faint.

And it looks awesome!

Only I can't be happy about it to my family, because if they find out about it now, they'll be super disapproving. (I'm going to not tell them, and see if they see it next time I see them in person, so about December).

So, here I am, on F!S.

How about any of you guys? Have you done anything recently that you're super proud of yourself for? Anything counts!

well i've been doing well enough at work to get promoted to full-time, i felt pretty great about that.

Talking about tattoos two weeks ago I tattooed "wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure" on the inside of my upper arm, or whatever that part of my anatomy is called. And I was pretty proud of myself for figuring out what to get and then actually going through with it.

Other than that, I've been pretty good at going to my lectures and reading schoolwork this semester so I'm pretty proud of that.

I've bought a car!

I've yet to pony up the money and get insurance for it, but I've signed for it, I've had a test drive and they'll get my name on the new keeper paperwork, so all I have to do is pay and take it!

It's my first car, so I'm excited.

I sent out death certificates to my father's creditors. (Or almost; they're stamped and ready to go.) I should have done it ages ago, but at least I've done it now.

I was really, really dreading it but it wasn't so bad once I got started so now I'm proud of myself.

They're pretty minor, but they've been on my "I should get on this" list for a while, but this weekend I:

Cleaned my apartment (actually still in process, took a break after finishing the kitchen before moving on to clean the bathroom)
Actually started messing around with the Vex robotics kit I "stole" from my Dad ages ago
and, most importantly, put some serious work into looking for a new job. My current job isn't awful, but I've lost all motivation and it's not in the industry I want my career to be in. So I finally started the process to move somewhere more interesting (Which lead to the robotics bit afterwords)
