Links to articles, blogs, discussions on experiences being harrassed?

A few years ago, when possibly some something-gate had gone on, I remember reading a lot of good articles and discussions on women's experiences being sexually harassed. There were some about women who'd matured early, and suddenly got this attention; there was one about a woman who became more "attractive", and found the extra attention and harrassment unbearable (I think her story involved a stalker) so she took to dressing and making herself up as frumpy as possible; and there were general stories about every woman having stories of "near misses", even if not of actually full-blown assault and rape.

There were also articles on cat-calling and a lot of stuff on the effect of being sexually more "attractive".

I have some people in my life who I'd like to be able to direct to such first-hand stories (they would be more affected by this than by articles laying out rules and facts and arguments). Do people have good links? I can't seem to find the root articles I started from years ago.

Oh, and I think it might have started with someone blogging about their creative writing course, where they had a discussion about whether a woman would feel unsafe going into a bar at night wearing tight lycra cycling shorts? Or something? And the men in the room thinking it would be ridiculous to be afraid?

Oh wow! I just this moment realised, from reading that, that when hordes of much older boys on bikes used to circle around me on the way to school, asking if "the carpet matches the curtains", that wasn't just because I had red hair, but because I was a girl with red hair.

http://yesmeansyesblog.wordpress.com/ This blog is about general rape culture, which a lot of the type of harassment you're talking about they [the blog runners, and I think a lot of people as a whole] consider to be apart of that. The Shroedinger's Rapist post [under their 'Top Posts' bit] would probably be of particular interest to you, and there are a lot of comments on it where women talk about their experiences with that.
