I gotta admit, I kinda side-eye anyone who finds Haruhi attractive. But I'm biased, as I detest tsundere characters, so make of that what you will...

Btw, some men feel the need to point out which one they would fuck, even if they don't find them attractive. For them, it's a constant case of "Two last people on Earth - will they hit the bunk together or not?".

Hint: maybe find men who haven't watched the series or aren't about to. Maybe you'll find that there's less reason to make assumptions.

Well, Haruhi is attractive physically. Also, she doesn't really fit the tsundere archetype completely. She's more of a bossy genki girl most of the time.

Also, in the light novels, she's gotten a lot more character development, and it seems that she's gotten a lot better.

Gonna have to agree with the anon above there, Haruhi has some traits but she's not really a tsundere. If anyone is a tsundere in that show, it's Kyon.

I agree on the tsundere thing, it's really obnoxious to me. When it comes to Haruhi, the fact that people around her actually react realistically to her behaviour (i.e. not really wanting to be around her, thinking she's weird, being dismayed by her behaviour) made it easier for me to watch the anime (which I really liked).

But I also think that as long as people only like certain characters/dynamics in fiction, there's nothing wrong with it. I mean, who among us can say that we don't have any kinks that we only enjoy in fiction, and would in fact find abhorrent in reality?

Though I might still question their taste, haha.
