He's pretty normal and sweet and she's comically ugly and bitcy (but also kind of awesome in her 'I don't give a crap' attitude)... but he's no exactly 'Hot' and later he also comes out as a crossdresser or something, and their relationship is usually played for laughs.
And in Married With Children there's Marcy and Jefferson, though I can't remember if Jefferson is a goldigger or if there really was love between them, because he did seem to care about her at times.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-07 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)I think that Jefferson do care about Marcy even though he is truly a parasite on her. I think when Steve came back from being missing show some part of that even though it was more he didn't want to lose his cush life, IIRC.
