So do I. It's so perfectly annoying that, after I make that secret (which was supposed to be reaching out to the writer of the other secret), and right before my secret posts, some asshat has to go on a rent hate rant in a secret. great.

Well, for everything you love, there has to be at least one person out there who hates it. That's one thing I learned from the internet. And I'm pretty sure this inkling of doubt about my own sexuality is also because of fandom, but I don't think I'd had a problem telling a friend or two, especially since we're both in the same fandom, so. *shrug* Friends can be surprisingly understanding. =]
