How sad, ahhh. One of the main reasons I love this show so much is how awesome Dipper and Mabel's sibling relationship is. :( I hope your brother comes around.

At any rate, your brother's not necessarily going to be like your cousin. But regardless of what happens later on, this is a quote that sums up things better than I can:

Try not to close him off anon, and you may return to being close siblings again one day. It's normal to grow apart and celebrate your independance for a bit. Maybe he's trying to find himself and work out who he is? Or yeah, just trying to be cool and you're cramping his style - but you'll still be there later for him.
