I mean there's nothing wrong with just looking at pretty pictures. But I don't understand making a secret like this one if that's the case? No one cares if you reblog or fav pictures from a fandom your not in. I mean, I think Teen Wolf fanart is pretty good and reblog it but I'm not going to write fic for it or claim fanom is better than canon when I haven't watched the source?

I totally understand making a secret about it (I've almost done the same for a different fandom), but yeah, that IS pretty bullshit. Unless someone's reason for disliking a canon is purely aesthetic (art style/writing style/medium/etc), it's not really valid to judge between fandom and canon without being reasonably familiar with canon.
