As soon as I read 'Sherlock fandom', this whole thing became much clearer. Melted seal blubber is probably not even the weirdest thing that fandom has used as lube. ~~Well, okay, maybe it is, but I'm sure there's something else in the vicinity of melted seal blubber because again, Sherlock fandom.~~

There's one where John gets turned on by My Little Pony and he and Sherlock do gen 4 pony play. I think the first paragraph into that my eyeballs bled into my mouth.

Like as in from "Community is airing in 11 days" to "we're going to air Community eventually but we don't know when."

No I have a lot to say. They're already late and the season is supposed to be several episodes short and how is this remotely a good idea? Okay that wasn't very much but fuck. This is not good at all. Just give us the damn season. Fucking with the scheduling isn't magically going to attract more viewers. I don't even. Yeah if I wasn't already a fan this would not be incentive to start!!!!!

I am so fucking mad. If they really want to kill Community so bad then they should at least let it die with dignity like it deserves. And if they don't why don't they just air it when it's supposed to and move it if needed? Fucking A, a possible Halloween episode in JANUARY? What the fuck is the matter with them? Jesus Christ, they've already fucking beheaded the show, just leave it alone, NBC.

Edit: I agree it's not. And Community is so in jokey and meta that a widespread audience isn't just going to be able to automatically sit in on the show. Jesus, just. . .dignity, really, is all we are asking for. I was so excited :( I was so, so excited :(

What does that mean? My head hurts. Are they saying they're holding them back to do more advertising but might do a last minute swap if something else doesn't work out? What?

That is pretty much exactly what they are saying. They just got successful with two shows (that I KNOW people only watch because they are AWFUL) and so now they want to focus on some of their other shows that they think are halfway decent to see if people will come watch them, and then it looks like they're thinking of either axing a few of their new, shittier shows, or else they're waiting for their good shows to play out for the year so they can stick Community in that slot so that people will actually watch it.

My money is on it airing in January.

I've read at least a couple of things in Sherlock fandom that I would never mention to a soul. So...yea, I feel you.

The one where they fuck cake is actually pretty legitimate and why is that a sentence oh my god what did I just say.

Anyway it's played for humor.

I can't believe the cotton swab one is so POPULAR *shudders* But then omegaverse is widely popular in Sherlock fandom and I won't even touch those fics with a ten foot pole.

I keep mental lists of things I find most scarring on the internet and so far things the Sherlock fandom fill up most of the list. I don't know what it is about that fandom that makes them come up with so many creative and disturbing ways to make two people have sex with each other, but damned if you don't find your kink if you're reading in it. Sherlock fandom's like the hundred flavor ice cream shop of porn.
