Credit Where It's Due
(Anonymous) 2012-10-09 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)I'm really annoyed with the idea that you don't really care about your creative work if you want recognition for it. TBH, I suspect that we've been told this so many times--along with the idea that ~good women are supposed to be modest and humble, and the idea that you're not supposed to care that much about the things you do for fun--that many of us feel obliged to pretend we don't care about being rewarded for our work even when we do.
