This fandom has been surprisingly great about multishipping so far. It helps that there is some degree of basis for everything!

Well, AoKuro and KagaKuro are more canon than AoKaga, I think... So maybe that's why you don't feel as protective about AoKAga, if people don't like that, it's their problem, but if people don't like AoKuro and KagaKuro, it's like they are bashing the canon.

There aren't any romantic relationships in KuroBasu that are canon. Even Momoi's cute crush on Kuroko is one-sided. Oh, unless the anime pumped up the shiptease scenes? Because I only read the manga and there's not really anything that can't be read as close friendship... although my Western!sensibilities were thrown for a loop with the Aida/Momoi chest scene, hahaha...

yes, kuroko's relationship with aomine and kagami is more developed than their relationship with each other but lol none of them are canon romantic ships unless we are following different series.
