Are there any good fics in this fandom? Maybe it's because I stopped checking roughly after episode 10, but it seemed to me that not only was there barely any fic, most of it was also pretty bad. Or porn, and I don't really care about LOK porn.

Lieumon is basically the spiritual successor to Tyzula in that 95% of its shippers don't realize how messed up that kind of relationship would be, so it doesn't surprise me that there's no good fic for it.

Yeah, I can believe you. Fic is one of those positive feedback loops where more inspires more and less inspires less, and it really does take someone with enough talent to inspire others to prime the pump and get things going.

As much as I love Lieumon I have to agree to some of this.

Fanfic wise, the ship is severely lacking...I love "The Lovers That Went Wrong" but you're right about the OCs taking over.

I read a bit of "Give and Take" but I think it's overrated.

And we're STILL having this Lieumon vs Ammora crap....ugh

I'm just baffled that anyone cares enough to write fic for a show that bad.

Me and a friend decided to roleplay out the post events of LOK. It took us MONTHS and Lieu still hadn't forgiven Noatak. He rightfully hated him. Eventually they broke it off contact entirely and moved on from one another.

Then during a fire, Noatak discovered that there was a black market for his dangerous Equalist weapons. Criminals were using his Equalist propaganda to kill/rob/etc innocent people. Including modifying them to make weapons of great destruction.

It was during this mission to take down these distributors/abusers/mobsters that Noatak met back up with Lieu. Through taking out these guys they slowly rebuilt things from the cracked remains. It took ages and ages, and required Lieu getting to know someone he'd honestly never met.

But even as we lost interest and moved onto other roleplay stuff, Lieu STILL hadn't forgiven him. He'd become friends with Noatak. Amon was still dead to him. Honestly, he never should. What Amon did was not forgivable. No relationship can be rebuilt from that.

(BUT YEAH lieumon shippers, the majority I've seen are fucking retarded. And like their ideas better than reality. In truth the relationship was abusive from the beginning. It was a cesspool of abuse. It wasn't love, it was control.)
